The Yemeni army and popular committees managed on Wednesday to destroy five Saudi armored vehicles near Midi area, killing and injuring a number of Saudi soldiers.
In a statement, a military official explained that the allied force clashed with the Saudi army and mercenaries at the outskirts of Midi area, which led to the destruction of the Saudi vehicles.
About 8,300 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
