The Yemeni army unveiled a new generation of domestically-built long-range missiles, which could act as a game changer in the face of the Saudi-led military aggression against the Arab country.
Speaking at a press conference in the capital city of Sana'a on Friday, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the solid propellant and Scud-type Borkan-3 (Volcano-3) missile was launched from an undisclosed location in Yemen on Thursday and struck a designated military site in Dammam in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
Brigadier General Saree further highlighted that the radar-evading missile has undergone successful experimental tests, and can hit targets deep inside the countries of aggression.
He also praised the Yemeni tribes “who countered the advances of the forces of the Saudi enemy” along the fronts of Manbih, Al-Thabit market and Qataber, stressing that the number of casualties in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition “is far greater than what has been announced in their media.”
The spokesperson stated that the Saudi-led coalition conducted more than 400 airstrikes on different Yemeni provinces in July, adding that 98 people were martyred and wounded, including 25 women and 33 children in the same month.
