The Yemeni army launched on Tuesday a retaliatory attack on the positions of the Saudi-backed mercenaries in Air region.
The offensive targeted the militants in Majaza al-Gharbiya, killing and wounding scores of fighters.
Tuesday’s operation comes in response to the continued Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.
A few hours earlier, Saudi warplanes launched three airstrikes on al-Hamra area in Hajja province’s Mustabaa District.
